About us
After the political changes in the 1990s, a three-person company “PETIT” was established.
It was a book-lovers’ enterprise so the name referred to the tradition of typography.
When we started our activity it was a really small printing house, as the French say – PETIT .
The word PETIT [fr.] is also a degree of printing typeface equal to 8 typographic points (3.009 mm); printing typeface of this degree has been used since the 16th century, most often for folding books.
Books were at the beginning our main specialization, but with time we have expanded our offer.
The years 2007 to 2019 were the time of intensive development of the company: the expansion of the company building, new hard cover books binding machines, CTP system and new printing press. Under the EU subsidies, investments in modern machinery were possible. They improve the production processes and increased our quality capabilities. Since 2017, a new project co-financed from the European Funds, entitled “Implementation of process and product innovation as a way to improve the competitiveness of PETIT”, is being implemented. The aim of the project is to increase competitiveness by introducing process, product and non-technological innovation; expanding the company’s offer with a new rigid box packaging products.
The year 2019 is a year of changes – we have launched new production lines to make high quality decorative boxes made of solid cardboard (rigid boxes).
A new brand “PETIT-BOXES” is created.
Meet Petit
The company has a machine park and technical facilities to produce all kinds of boxes based on solid cardboard.
Our team is a group of young people who approach every production with full commitment and special care. Each of us can proudly boast many years of work in the packaging industry. Our knowledge has been gained on various positions, including production, that is why we know each box from its base. It is our commitment to implement simple projects. However, our full potential is shown by implementing complex projects, requiring the involvement of various techniques, demanding materials and different suppliers.
It is possible for us to make complicated productions with various fitments: foam, thermoformed moldings, corrugated or cardboard. We are happy to share our knowledge and experience to support the Customer.
A very creative team of designers is available to produce a mock-up within 48 hours following the technical specifications. During the construction and valuation stage we act quickly and efficiently.
We approach each customer individually and provide technological support at every stage of production.
Thanks to a compact structure and a harmonious, dynamic team, we can significantly shorten the time of production implementation. As a result, the production of tens of thousands of boxes can be completed even within 10 days of the approval of the model.
